Name-a-Seat, Build a Theater Campaign

As part of the Park Theater Renovation Capital Campaign, The Park Theater Trust (TPTT) is thrilled to offer the community the opportunity to personalize a seat at the historic Park Theater. All applications are subject to the Park Theater Name-a-Seat Policy. There will only be a total of 204 custom-created, plush seats in the “new” Park Theater. For a new donation of $5,500, your name or the name of your choice will be placed on one of them. These seats are being crafted by Series Seating, the same company that has built seats for the Screen Actors Guild, the Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center, and top-tier theaters and cinemas all over the world.

Key Highlights

  • Seats can be named for individuals, families and businesses, or in honor of a loved one.
  • As part of this program, seat locations are assigned at random, so specific seats (such as front row, aisle, or particular numbers) cannot be reserved. We’re grateful for your support in helping us recognize donors throughout the space.
  • Names of up to 36 characters and spaces will be engraved on a metal plaque, which will be in place for the life of the seat. When seats need to be replaced, the Donor will have the opportunity to renew.
  • TPTT will honor all applications on a first-come, first-served basis beginning April 13, 2026. Once all 204 seats are claimed, the campaign will close.
  • Seat naming donations are 100% tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and will be used solely to support theater construction costs.
  • Please note that naming a seat does not guarantee you will have that seat for events. What you will have is the joy of being a lasting and very visible part of one of the Bay Area’s most iconic theaters.

  • To reserve your seat immediately via a credit card, debit card, checking or savings account, complete the form below.

  • To reserve a seat by physical check (personal or Donor-Advised Fund), please send $5,500 per seat to P.O. Box 1624, Lafayette, CA 94549. Kindly include a note indicating this is for the Name a Seat Campaign along with your desired seat inscription (up to 36 characters). Seat naming will be confirmed upon receipt of your check.
